Now still in the RBB media library
King Charles III was finally crowned last weekend.
On March 30, Charles crowned our Brodowiner Bauernkäse by lending a hand in the production process. Managing Director Ludolf von Maltzan and Press Spokeswoman Franziska Rutscher were able to taste the preliminary result live on RBB's Studio3 on Tuesday - and were satisfied. Everyone agreed that the royal Brodowin cheese could still do with "a bit more oomph". But this is to be expected as the cheese matures over the next 2-3 weeks, said von Maltzan.
The royal cheeses with the crown emblem are cared for by hand every day and stored at a constant 5-6°C in the dark cheese ripening room. Later, the farmer's cheese with the crown emblem will be available in the farm store and from the Brodowin delivery service.
You can find out how the cheese premiere went, what our biggest concern was during King Charles III's visit and whether Christian Matthee has the potential to become a butter-packing intern online in the RBB media library.
