Christoph's triumph
Cycle logistician Christoph has taken on an extraordinary challenge: Taking part in the Paris-Brest Tour from August 20 to 24, 2023, proudly wearing the Brodowin ecovillage jersey and his cappie, proving once again his passion for cycling.
At 41, Christoph has an impressive amount of experience. For four years, he has been delivering the Brodowiner organic crates for our partner from Netzwerk Grüne Stadtlogistik, and before dedicating himself to this profession, he conquered the streets of Berlin Neukölln as a rickshaw driver. Ideal conditions for his longest tour!
On August 20, 2023, Christoph set off on his adventurous journey from the French capital through Brittany to Brest on the Atlantic and then back. Paris-Brest-Paris is certainly not for the faint-hearted, with 11,750 meters of elevation gain and an enormous distance of 1,219 kilometers! Qualifying and successfully completing the route in under 90 hours are required to be included in the honor roll. Christoph crossed the finish line with little sleep and a time of 88:09:09!
